The Spring Has Sprung | BOOK TAG

Spring Has Sprung-3.png

Hey, everyone! It is the first book tag I’m doing on the blog and  want to say thank you to Cristina from My Tiny Obsessions for tagging me. I had fun doing this tag. So without further ado, let’s get started!

FLOWERS: LOOK ON YOUR BOOKSHELVES. WHAT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOK BOTH INSIDE AND OUT?

10860047.jpg

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern is definitely one of my all time favourite book. One word to describe this book would be dreamy. A book about a magical Victorian circus, the description in this book is absolutely beautiful.

GRASS: WHAT IS A BOOK THAT YOU FIND OTHERS LIKE WAY MORE THAN YOU DO?

All The Bright Places.jpg

Many people that I’ve talked to seems to really love All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. While I do think that it’s a great book, I’m not as crazy about it as others.

RAIN: WHAT’S A GREAT BOOK THAT LIFTS YOUR SPIRIT WHEN YOU’RE DOWN?

Ryan hunter.jpg

Ryan Hunter by Anna Katmore! This book is the second book in the Grover Beach Team series. It tells the story of the first book titled ‘Play With Me’ but from the guy’s POV. I LOVE BOOKS FROM THE GUY’S POV and this one in particular is super super sweet. You couldn’t help but to smile and feel all happy and mushy inside whenever you’re feeling down.

DEW: WHAT’S A BOOK THAT MADE YOU FEEL ALIVE?

Don't Look Back

If I have to choose one, it would be a thriller book by Jennifer L. Armentrout titled Don’t Look Back and it is definitely one of those book that just gripped you. The whole time I was reading, I felt like I was on a roller coaster. I felt sad for the main character but mostly I was scared and anxious throughout the story. I guess it’s very different feelings from what I usually feel in my real life hehehe

STORMS: WHAT’S A BOOK THAT YOU FOUND UNPREDICTABLE

Choker

One of the most unpredictable book I read is Choker by Elizabeth Woods. It’s a psychological thriller and one of the book that made my jaw drop at the end of the book.

RAINBOW: WHAT WAS A BOOK THAT YOU STRUGGLE WITH, ONLY TO BE HAPPY THAT YOU READ IT IN THE END?

21795576

I grabbed Everything That Makes You by Moriah McStay because of the interesting plot. However, I did struggle a bit at the beginning because it is kind of slow. Though the more I read it, the more I got into it and I ended up really liking the book.

CHILLY WEATHER: WHAT’S A BOOK THAT YOU COULDN’T FINISH OR DIDN’T ENJOY?

Allegiant_DemiJacket_WetProofTest.indd

Allegiant by Veronica RothI wasn’t sure why I didn’t enjoy the book because I really liked Divergent. However, I just couldn’t seem to finish this one and just gave up.

WARM WEATHER: WHAT’S A BOOK THAT YOU LOVED AND WANTED MORE OF?

Magnolia

Another young adult romance. Magnolia by Kristi Cook is your typical boy-girl hated each other but they were told that they were destined to be together. While the plot may not be appealing, once I started reading it, I couldn’t stop and loved every single of it. The argument, the fights, the misunderstanding, for some reason, the anger just makes everything better. I want to know what happens next for the two of them though I’m satisfied with the ending.

GREEN: WHAT’S A BOOK THAT YOU HAVEN’T READ YET, BUT REALLY WANT TO

The Square Root of Summer

I currently have The Square Root of Summer by Harriet Reuter Hapgood waiting for me. I picked up this book because it seems like a good summer read! Can’t wait to start reading the book.

PINK: WHAT’S A BOOK IN WHICH YOU FELT A STRONG CONNECTION TO THE CHARACTERS

Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality

It is easily Lexi from Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality by Elizabeth Eulberg. I can just relate to her personality and the situation she is in.

PURPLE: WHAT’S A BOOK THAT WHEN YOU READ IT, YOU FEEL SAFE?

I’m not sure I have an answer for this question. It is an interesting question though since ‘safe’ is not one of the feelings I usually seek or feel while reading books.

ORANGE: WHAT BOOK DO YOU FEEL IS INTELLIGENTLY WRITTEN

We Were Liars

I had a hard time deciding this one but I think We Were Liars by E.Lockhart is one of them.

YELLOW: WHAT BOOK PUTS A SMILE ON YOUR FACE?

The Fine Art of Pretending

Definitely The Fine Art of Pretending by Rachel Harris. Nothing better than a story about two friends falling for each other. This book is extremely sweet and the chemistry & interactions between the characters just too adorable I CAN’T HANDLE IT!

I tag The Critiquing ChemistLuniReadsthe book finch, and of course anyone who wants to do this tag! 🙂

xo,

Naths
